Critically acclaimed emcee and producer Black Milk will be touring this August for the first time since his "No Poison, No Paradise Tour". His "Loops Don't Lie Tour", which will feature the Detroit native performing live beat sets, stops in five U.S. cities, including Atlanta, Charlotte, and Tampa. Soon after, the multi-talented artist will be heading to Europe with his four-person live band for the "Black Milk Live With Nat Turner Tour". This segment of the tour includes dates in major cities such as London and Amsterdam, and three dates in Germany, before returning back to the U.S. for a final show in his home state of Michigan. Speaking on his previous tour, LA Weekly shares praises, saying "Master of Ceremonies Black Milk was expertly both directing and starring in this show."

Additionally, Black Milk recently announced that he has a new album in the works, titled If There's A Hell Below..., which is due to be released in the fourth quarter of 2014. Notorious for the unexpected, he's done it again with "Detroit's New Dance Show," the album's first single which is available for sale here. The self-produced "new-wave-tinged rocker," as Okayplayer dubbed the track, pays homage to a television series that aired in his hometown of Detroit back in 1988 called "The New Dance Show." The thumping, dark electronic production is layered beneath pitch-lowered vocals on the chorus, with some hard-hitting lyrics in the verses.

Earlier this year,Black Milk surprised fans with his Glitches In The Break EP, which features frequent collaborators Guilty Simpson and Fat Ray. HipHopDX gave the release a 4/5 rating, stating that the EP "adds another notch to Black Milk's belt as an equally talented emcee and producer across multiple genres." Following Glitches In The Break, he shared "What It's Worth," a loose single that features a rapid flow over a Southern-sounding, laid back beat, presumably influenced by his recent relocation to Texas. "The uptempo beat finds the Detroit rapper showcasing his lyrical ability and switching up his flow over the self-produced cut," says HotNewHipHop.
