Musician Myele Manzanza, who many may know as the former drummer for the group Electric Wire Hustle, and his band The Myele Manzanza Trio recently wrapped up a tour that saw the group travelling to Sweden, Hungary and Germany. At some point during their travels last month the trio (which includes bassist Matt Dal Din and the legendary Mark de Clive-Lowe on keys) had a chance to visit a studio in Prague and record a beautiful cover of Bobby Hutcherson's "Montara" from his 1975 album of the same name. I'm not really familiar with the original, but I can't imagine this version doesn't do it justice as the fellas simply sound amazing during this 7 min session. Wish I knew more, but that's all I got people. And honestly, what else do you need?...enjoy the sounds.
